Jennifer has worked with numerous nonprofit and for-profit organizations, large and small. She has led programs serving the unemployed, returning citizens, persons with HIV, veterans, and the homeless; she also has extensive experience in the early childhood arena. Jennifer strives to create a climate of continuous learning and improvement at all organizational levels; her efforts have resulted in teams feeling more empowered and organizations achieving greater compliance with HR laws and funder requirements. Jennifer combines her clinical social work experience, HR knowledge, and lived experience to identify organizational challenges and help teams create and implement smart solutions. She has also initiated conversations around diversity, equity, and inclusion, and her commitment in this area has resulted in the implementation of more equitable interviewing and onboarding processes, as well as position descriptions and policies that reduce unintentional bias. 

Jennifer has lectured at various colleges and universities and mentored master’s level students. A lifelong learner, she stays in touch with many of the folks she’s supervised over the years and is delighted to find many in leadership positions themselves.
